After a day-long funk, today turned out to be alright. This morning I got an email from a friend about a job I applied for in DC saying someone else got the job.
ugh.
But, the same friend followed up that email with a couple more tonight reassuring me that something will come through and there are several people at the organization that are rooting for me. I sure hope so, I need all the support I can get. There’s only so much I can do from Kansas when I want to move across the country.
In other news, I’ve applied for a couple of jobs in the KC area. I’m starting to consider it. You could say I’m getting a little desperate.
